چکیده

Sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) is an important tropical crop around the world, involving in Indonesia, however low productivity still problem for it. The study was aimed to investigate effect of different planting methods on improving cane growth-yield performances and their partial economic analysis. conducted at Gedangdowo, Jepon, Blora District, Central Java, Indonesia from 2015-2017 initial (IP) sugarcane ratoon SR-1 SR-2. Material used qualified seeds PS.862 variety. Three were tested: 1) double trench system (DTS) with 50 cm distance between 135 trenches; 2) single (STS) 120 canter center (CTC) 3) STS 110 CTC. experiment arranged randomized complete block design (RCBD) 6 replications. Results revealed that DTS 50/135 most appropriate method inducing higher up 129.12 t/ha IP, then increased 134.1 declined down 114.1 Percentage 40.8% 51.1% 64.6% Higher R/C ratio 1.99 1.94 performed by followed 50/135. Modification of the saffron model for growth and yield prediction under different irrigation water salinity, manure application and planting methods

The Saffron Yield Estimation Model (SYEM) was modified for salinity conditions, cowmanure application and planting methods using two-year experiments data in Badjgah region ofIran. A split-split plot arrangement was conducted in complete randomized block design duringtwo years with irrigation water salinity levels (0.45 (fresh water, S1), 1.0 (S2), 2.0 (S3) and 3.0(S4) dS m-1) as the main plot,...

The effect of planting methods on maize growth and yield at different irrigation regimes

ABSTRACT- Maize production, which is ranked after wheat and barely in Fars province, Iran, needs a considerable amount of irrigation water that is not available in scarce water conditions in drought situations. Therefore, proper planting method can improve irrigation water management. The objectives of the present study were to investigate the effects of two planting methods, on-bed and in furr...

Physiological Behaviour and Yield Performances of Hybrid Rice at Different Planting Dates in Aus Season

Two field experiments were conducted in 2009 and 2010 to evaluate some physiological traits and yield of three hybrid rice varieties (BRRI hybrid dhan2, Heera2, and Tia) in comparison to BRRI dhan48 in Aus season. The experiments involved four planting dates (1 April, 16 April, 1 May and 16 May). Compared to BRRI dhan48, hybrid varieties accumulated greater shoot dry matter at anthesis, higher ...

Soybean Seed Yield Performances under Different Cultural Practices

This study was carried out to investigate the yield response of 2 soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) cultivars to different planting dates and plant populations and to examine the relationships of seed yield with leaf area index (LAI) and total dry matter (TDM) during the vegetative and reproductive periods for planting dates, plant populations, and cultivars. Two soybean cultivars, A3127 (earl...
